Gather input independently before convening
To avoid groupthink and the influence of the loudest voices, collect opinions asynchronously before the meeting starts. Senior leaders speak last
If you're the most senior person in the room, your opinion carries disproportionate weight. Wait until everyone else has shared their perspective before contributing your own view. Aggressively eliminate unnecessary meetings
